2019: It’s Our Tenth Anniversary!

We are thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of reverential riverside revelry on the mighty Petaluma River. How did we make it this far? Was it divine intervention? Did the spirit move us? We think so! We continue to be inspired to bring the Revival to the P Town masses so we can all join together in communion to spread the word about conservation, community, artistry, music and old-timey fun for the whole family.

So come and be saved at Rivertown Revival on Saturday, July 20th, 2019. Hallelujah!

2019 volunteer sign-ups will open in mid-march!

Please come back and viisit our Apply Yourself page to get on board the Good Ship Revival!

Brian Way - performer liaison and artist check-in captain

BeeDub is a former rocker and man-about-town with ties to the Long Beach and San Francisco psychedelic music scenes. He has been running Artist Check-In at Rivertown Revival since 2011, and this year has taken on extra duties as on-line music coordinator.  He'll probably be wearing a cowboy hat, overalls, and a walkie-talkie. Come say hi!

Music is integral to the Rivertown Revival Experience. We're so lucky to have The Lost Church as our partner, bringing us our Music Captain, Josh Windmiller also of The Crux and Railroad Square Music Festival.

2018 Lineup Is Here!

Rivertown Revival is not your average music festival.  Electric guitars twang in the shade of an old barn, a magician astounds the crowd on a homemade converted truck stage, and traveling preachers testify in song beside the beautiful Petaluma River.  Many events around Northern California present great music, but the Rivertown Revival aims to transport artist and audience alike into another world for one perfect summer day.  Our 2018 schedule boasts many styles including Country, Latin, Hot Jazz, Vaudeville, Marching Band, and Bluegrass!

Community Partnerships!

Seven years ago when we decided to throw the first Rivertown Revival, Out West Garage sent us a check for $500. That first contribution helped motivate us to organize "The Greatest Slough on Earth." The community support that we felt from this first contribution has swelled to gigantic proportions. For more information about sponsorship, email Kelin: kelin@clementineecoevents.com Thank you to our incredible sponsors listed below!

Admiral Sponsors:

Lagunitas Brewing is the generous sponsor of our Main Stage! They fuel our workdays, green room, and two main bars. This year they will also have two locations with troughs of their new 12th of Never cans of delicious Lagunitas brew. They're helping us keep the lights on at Friends of the Petaluma River.

Clementine Eco-Events believes in triple bottom line planning - the balance of economy, ecology and community. For this reason they produce Rivertown Revival as a way to give back and donate their time, resources and team.

Chicken Pharm and Harvest restaurants are sponsoring our VIP tent (Volunteers are Important People) by providing lunches for our 300 plus volunteers at the Revival.

Commodore Sponsors:

Clover Sonoma has been the sponsor of our Friends of the Petaluma River Tent for many years, and they support the work of our organization all year long! Once again they are hosting an activity in the FOPR tent and help us keep our mission alive! Rocky and Rosie Chicken are sponsoring our Food Galley area again this year and will be donating all proceeds from their Amazing Food Truck to Friends of the Petaluma River.

Revive will be fueling our volunteers every Sunday and throughout the event with their delicious ice cold Kombucha.

Wine Country Radio will be spreading the word about the Rivertown Revival on its KRUSH, Y100.9 and Latino 95.5 stations.

Tyler Young of Idea Coop/Field Sonoma created the Rivertown Revival brand and also creates and produces all artwork for the promotional and collateral needs of the celebration.

Michael Woolsey Photography hosts our fabulous photo booth and provides the images that live forever as our happy memories of celebrating our River and community together.

Captain Sponsors:

The Lost Church books all musical acts for our four stages. That’s a lot of work!

Out West Garage is sponsoring our Crux Revival Tent! Those Out West folks love their music, so this is a perfect location for them. We’re so pleased to see this wonderful community resource on our sponsor list again! The staff from our very own Petaluma Health Center will be providing our Med Tent this year. We feel better than ever about having our guests in their competent hands in case of an injury or health issue occurring at the Revival.

McEvoy Ranch wines will be joining Willabees Wines and Spirits this year as our generous wine booth sponsors. Look forward to delicious vino at the Revival!

Friedman’s Home Improvement is providing us necessary materials to make our event look great and operate smoothly.

Pacific Eagle Electric has provided us a generous donation to keep the lights on at RR!

First Mate Sponsors:

Ace Promotional Specialties keeps us looking sharp in our Staff and Volunteer t-shirts, and RR swag.

Bank of Marin brings a crew of people to help us in our Ticket Booths. Their banking skills keep those lines moving quickly to get you into our fun party with maximum efficiency and minimal wait.

Petaluma Transit has generously offered free public transportation on RR day!

Green Mary keeps our waste diversion in the 90th percentile in partnership with the Recology. She also brings over 20 water stations to complement Camelbak’s “Hydration Monsters.” Green Mary, the Recology and Camelbak keep us green and hydrated all day long.

Minuteman Press generously prints all of our promotional materials. They do a beautiful job and keep us looking great!

Rivertown Feed is once again delivering 500 hay bales for our seating this year. It’s always so exciting when that semi-truck full of hay rolls in! The Casa Grande and Petaluma High Football teams will be on for their annual “Hay Bowl” to place every bale. We’ll post photos of this friendly competition!!

Nautical Mass

Nautical Mass

CALLING ALL

Artists, Engineers, Racers & Boaters
Tinkerers, Makers and Wayward Craft Floaters!

You are hereby invited to float in to Rivertown Revival on a slough-worthy vessel and participate in Rivertown Revival’s Nautical Mass!

All manner of shiply vessel can turn a rudder and move down the slough! It will be a diverse parade of artistic expression, and we’d love for you to add your oars!

Please put in at the Turning Basin, or at any other secured public dock along the Petaluma River, then paddle in to join us on the water at Steamer Landing. We'll have a floating Revive Kombucha Bar to slake your thirst, plus entertainment aboard the historic scow schooner Alma which will be anchored nearby. Please note that in order to disembark and join the land lubbers at The Revival, you must return and stow your vessel in the Turning Basin, or other secured dock, and enter the festival on foot at the Copeland and D Streets entrance.

Nautical Mass Rules

Rules, Information, and Random Facts

  • In the true spirit of Rivertown Revival, you can be inventive, artistic, and outrageous in your vessel's design. Just make sure your vessel will float!

  • Tides, wind and wakes are to be reckoned with. Wind picks up in the afternoon (good for sails, hard for paddlers)

  • Your vessel is your responsibility, not Rivertown Revival’s.

  • We welcome peddle-, paddle- or otherwise human-powered vessels.

  • There are no restrictions on boat size.

  • Themes and costumes are encouraged!

  • PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices) are highly encouraged and mandatory if a crew member is under the age of 16.

  • A bucket or pump must be on board if there is ANY chance your vessel might sink.

  • All vessels must have a length of rope for retrieval and towing purposes.

  • No internal combustion engines allowed regardless of fuel type.

  • Electric powered craft are limited to 18 volts max output of battery source. No off the shelf electric outboards, unless modified. For example, control unit must be separated from motor prop unit and mounted as two separate units.

  • If your power is steam, your fuel must be alcohol.

  • Drive systems can be prop, air jet, water jet, water or air wheel, rubber band, or any other creative means of propulsion, as long as all other rules are followed.

  • A small, working fire extinguisher must be on the craft if there is ANY chance your boat might catch fire.
