Welcome To Rivertown Revival Music!
Meet Our Music Team
Brian Way - performer liaison and artist check-in captain
BeeDub is a former rocker and man-about-town with ties to the Long Beach and San Francisco psychedelic music scenes. He has been running Artist Check-In at Rivertown Revival since 2011, and this year has taken on extra duties as on-line music coordinator. He'll probably be wearing a cowboy hat, overalls, and a walkie-talkie. Come say hi!
2018 Lineup Is Here!
Rivertown Revival is not your average music festival. Electric guitars twang in the shade of an old barn, a magician astounds the crowd on a homemade converted truck stage, and traveling preachers testify in song beside the beautiful Petaluma River. Many events around Northern California present great music, but the Rivertown Revival aims to transport artist and audience alike into another world for one perfect summer day. Our 2018 schedule boasts many styles including Country, Latin, Hot Jazz, Vaudeville, Marching Band, and Bluegrass!
The Barn Stage
Big Kitty is a cross-section of song styles and life expressing the absurdity and beauty of existence with a particular love of oral traditions. Appalachia, Hawaii, a Britain of the imagination, France, Latin America, India. Baritone vocal, poetry, pop.
The Revival Tent
Formed in 2015, the Rivertown Skifflers are a jug band in the wild North American folk tradition of the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, the Even Dozen Jug Band, and Stringband. We play mostly uptempo, happy music featuring washboard, kazoo, fiddle, banjo, guitar, stumps fiddle, and ukulele. Perfect for dancing, toe-tapping, and guaranteed to elicit smiles and occasional chuckles.
Sharkmouth is a funky jazz punk trio from Sonoma County with an appetite for the open road and an acute ability to hang hard. At RR this year they’ll be accompanied by an ace horn section, and it’ll be a rare and radical experience.
The Crux is a mad scientist’s music laboratory, where songs are presented as theatrical experiments with an odd and beautiful intensity... Lullabies to drink your morning coffee to. Gospel songs for the faithless. Pirate shanties for people who get seasick. Swing music for the graceless.
The Spectacular Stage
Tobias and the Traveling Spectacular offers live music by the Oddjob Ensemble, grand illusions, a sword swallowing prestidigitator extraordinaire, vaudevillian comedy, a bevy of dancing beauties, and the fire-breathing Devil himself!
French Oak gives a fresh spin on French and American Swing Era Classics; melding genres from Jazz Manouche and French Musette, to New Orleans Swing and Traditional Global Folk.
T-Luke & The Tight Suits is a Bay Area Blues, Zydeco, and New Orleans style party and dance band. Raised in Louisiana music and heritage, T-Luke brings a fun new vibe to his cultural roots
7:30 - 8:00pm
The Hubbub Club will march around the peninsula and out to Steamer Landing to close out the festival.
