Calling All Young River Rats
Rivertown Revival will once again host a bustling Kids' Area for our wee ones to create treasures, view and pet animals, dance to music, play with water, and engage in group art. We'll also have a Parents' Tent hosted by the Friends of the Petaluma River, for mothers and fathers who want privacy for nursing or a shady place to re-group and change a diaper.
The Kids' Area, like the rest of the festival, is dedicated to using recyclable materials and easily found objects as much as possible. We aspire to engage children in play that harkens back to a time when play was not something one found in a store, but rather a natural state of being evoked through simplicity, joy and imagination.
